Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2012-13 for Junior Court Assistant job vacancies

Supreme Court of India in its notification has advertised for Junior Court Assistant job vacancies, selection of candidates will be through written, typing tests and interview, last date for procuring prescribed application form as well as for submission of filled in application form is 21.12.2012, read here for more detailed information.

How to apply, procedure to procure application form, last date for Junior Court Assistant job vacancies in Supreme Court of India?


Candidates who are eligible to apply for the job vacancies required to furnish their job applications through prescribedapplication format.

Prescribed application format may be obtained at the counter assigned for the purpose by paying a non-refundable demand draft as application fee for 300/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Supreme Court of India payable at New Delhi, however candidate who belongs to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen and dependants of freedom fighters category required to pay 150/- only.

Candidates can also obtain application form through post by sending a request with requisite application fee in the form of demand draft aforesaid.

Candidates required to send 32 cm X 25 cm size with postage stamp of70/- affixed thereon.

Last date for obtaining blank application form as well as submitting duly filled in application form is 21.12.2012.

Selection procedure for Junior Court Assistant job vacancies in Supreme Court of India


Selection of candidates will be made through their performance in the written test containing objective type questions for one hour, typing test on a computer for 10 minutes at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute at a maximum of 3% mistakes and objective type computer knowledge test for a duration of 30 minutes.

Shortlisted candidates who qualify in all the above mentioned tests will only be called for interview which will be announced in due course of time.

Eligibility conditions for Junior Court Assistant job vacancies in Supreme Court of India


  • Candidate should have attained at least 18 years of age as on the date of notification

  • Candidate should have passed Bachelors Degree in any discipline except engineering or technology such candidates must possess typing speed of 35 words per minute on a computer

  • Candidate must possess good knowledge of computer applications

  • Candidates who are already in service must forward their job applications through proper channel with due no objectioncertificate issued by their authorities, however they must produce original certificate at the time of interview if they are called for

  • Candidates who belongs to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Dependants of freedom fighters must enclose claims in support of copies of certificates issued by the respective authorities

  • Age relaxation and other concessions and facilities will be on par with the concessions and facilities provided at Staff Selection Commission and Union Public Service Commission recruitments

  • No TA or DA is admissible for attending test or interview

  • Candidate must provide genuine and authenticated information in the application

  • Candidate must be a Indian National
