Indian Army recruitment 2012 notification for 117th Technical Graduate Course (TGC) for July 2013 batch has been issued for vacancies in Engineering disciplines and Non-Engineering vacancies in Military Farms and Army Education Corps. The online application form for Engineering vacancies will start from 15th of November 2012. So candidates who are looking for Army jobs can apply for this and for which the details is as below.
A total of 60 vacancies available in the following branches for July 2013 batch for which the streamwise vacancy details are as follows.
TGC-117 for Army Education Corps (Men):
TGC 2013 Military Farms
Degree in Dairying or Degree in Agriculture - 6 vacancies (Agriculture - 2 and Dairy - 3)
Indian Army TGC 2013 age limit: The age limit for Engineering Graduates should be between 20 to 27 years. For AEC the candidates should be in the age group between 23 to 27 and for Military Farms the candidates age should be between 20 to 27 years. The above said age eligibility should be as on commencement of course i.e. on 1st of July 2013.
Indian Army TGC 2012 educational eligibility: Check whether do you have the following said eligibility to apply for Indian Army TGC 2013 at IMA.
Apart from age and educational eligibility, candidates should be eligible according to the prescribed physical standard.
Initially candidates applications are checked and candidates are shortlisted. Then the shortlisted candidates have to undergo two stage selection process consists of Psychological Aptitude Test followed by Interview. Then a merit list for TGC 2013 will be prepared based on the SSB interview and medical exam.
Regarding salary package the selected candidates will be given training for a period of 1 year in IMA Dehradun on which they will get a stipend of 21000 per month. On completion of the training they will be absorbed as Lieutenant in Indian Army with pay of 15600-39100 with Grade pay of 5400 and Military pay 6000. So the approximate CTC for Lieutenant at Indian Army is 65000 per month.
