How to apply for Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination 2012: Candidates can obtain the online application form available on the from ICAR/ ASRB website. Fill all the necessary details and send the application form in an envelope to The Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan, Pusa Road, New Delhi-110012. Please mention "Application for ARS Examination– 2012" along with Preliminary Examination Centre, Code No., ARS Examination Discipline and Code No. on an envelope in bold letters.
Application fee:480 +20 registration fee for General and OBC candidates. No fee for Women candidates/ SC/ST/Physically Challenged categories however they have to pay 20 as a registration charges.

Examination pattern for Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination 2012
Preliminary ARS Examination Paper shall have one paper of 150 marks with all objective questions, duration of the exam will be 2 hours (Two hours). 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in Prelim ARS Examination (Objective Type)
ARS Main Examination Paper will have only one paper of 240 marks. Total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
Viva Voce: Candidates who have passed ARS Main Examination will be called for Viva-voce of 60 marks.
