Male candidates of India and Ex-Service Officers who are medically fit can join Territorial Army as an Officer. If you are gainfully employed in Central Govt/ Semi Govt/Pvt Firm/ Own business/ Self employed then you are eligible to apply. But if you are serving employees of Polices / Para Military Forces then you are not eligible to apply.
Territorial Army Officer age limit: Candidates age between 18 to 42 years as on 15.01.2013 are eligible to apply.
Territorial Army Officer educational qualification: Candidates should be a Graduate from any recognized university can apply for Territorial Army Officer post.
Territorial Army Officer pay scale: The salary, privileges and allowances will be on par with regular Army Officers.
Candidates will be selected for Indian Army for Territorial Army Officer based on screening test conducted by Preliminary Interview Board, then through written test followed by SSB interview.
The written exam date for Indian Army Territorial Army Officer is February 10, 2013. The written exam consists of Short Essay and Objective type MCQ on General Awareness in which questions will be asked related with political, economic affairs, International situation and sports.
