2012 IFBI PG Diploma program with ICICI Bank internship

The Indian Institute of Finance, Banking & Insurance (IFBI) is inviting applications for its 2012 Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Operations (PGDBO) course which will enable students to get a paid internship with ICICI Bank. About the IFBI PGDBO Course 2012


The Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Operations (PGDBO) is for graduates only. The program equips candidates with both hard & soft skills.

Eligibility requirements


1.Educational qualifications: Graduate with minimum 50% marks at the graduation level. Applicants should also have scored minimum 50% marks in Class X and Class XII. There should have been no gaps in your educational years and you are not eligible if you have done a correspondence course.

2. Age: The applicant must be born on or after April 1st 1988.

Features of the IFBI PGDBO program 2012


1. Those admitted to the program will undergo classroom training for 3 months. For the full-time option of this program, this involves about 4-5hours of classes & after that a further 3 hours of self-study which will be supervised.

2. You will also work on projects & assignments. Reference work and e-learning will be part of the course. There will be gaming & general activities too!

3. Curriculum includes: Financial accounts & Maths, retail banking, learning professional skills, effective business communication skills, learning about financial product & services, selling skills & techniques, etc.

4. Candidates who have successfully completed the classroom training will then get a paid internship with ICICI Bank for the duration of 3 months.

(i) While the successful completion of the program could lead to the candidate's qualification for a post as a bank officer in ICICI Bank, the institute does not provide any job guarantee. 
(ii) The program duration may vary from one IFBI centre to another.
