Railway Recruitment Cell is a nodal agency for recruitment of Group C and D recruitment job vacancies under Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways, Government of India.
The recruitment cell intends to recruit job vacancies in Group C category under different category of job vacancies as discussed below.
Candidates who are desirous of applying for the posts required to have qualified in the below mentioned categories.
Candidate should have represented Olympic Games or should have attained third position
Should have represented country in any championships or events or should have attained at least third position in the events
Represented country in federation cup championships in senior category or its equivalent units excluding marathon and cross country events or should have attained at least third position in state level championships in senior level category
Below mentioned categorization are considered for the job vacancies.
Senior category in Olympic Games
Junior or Senior category in world cup or Junior or Senior category in world championships or senior category in Asian games or senior category in commonwealth games
Junior or Senior category in commonwealth championships or Junior or Senior category in Asia cup or in Asian Championships or senior category in South Asian Federation games or World Railways Championships in senior category
Candidates selection will be based on the trial, assessment of achievements made in the above mentioned sports disciplines, general intelligence and physical fitness or personality.
Candidate need to qualify in the preliminary levels to be eligible to appear for the subsequent selection processes.
Testimonials or documents should have issued from competent authorities
Envelop containing application form should be superscribed as Application against sports quota 2012-13 [open advertisement scheme]
Women / SC/ST/Muslim/Christian/Sikhs/Buddhist/Zorastrian candidates are exempted from making application fee
Application form should be filled either in English or in Hindi, filled in with other languages will not be entertained on technical grounds
Application form should be affixed with latest passport size photograph
Information provided in the application must be genuine and authenticated which should be supported by documents issued from competent authorities
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for all the posts
Candidates who have excelled in sports disciplines of wrestling in men's category, hockey in women's category, kabaddi n men's category, athletics in women's category and football in men's category and those who have participated events on or after 2010 are eligible to apply.
Such candidate who fulfills the prerequisites are required to furnish their job applications with documentary evidence through the prescribed application format which should be submitted to the concerned authority not later than 17.12.2012 for far flung area candidates it will be 31.12.2012.
Candidates who wish to apply for the job vacancies required to pay an application fee of 60/- for group C posts and 40/- for group D posts in the form of demand draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of Assistant Personnel Officer, RRC, North Eastern Railway payable at Gorakhpur.
No other mode of application fee will be accepted.
