SGB Officer and Office Assistant vacancies: A total of 113 vacancies available for Officer and Office Assistant post for which the break up details are as follows.

Officer Scale I - Total of 50 vacancies. (SC 11, ST 5, OBC 11, GEN 23)
Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - 63 vacancies. (SC 6, ST 12, OBC 15, GEN 30)

SGB Officer and Office Assistant salary: The pay scale for Officer vacancies at SGB will be 14500-25700 and for Office Assistant 7200-19300.

SGB Officer and Office Assistant age limit: For Officer vacancies the age should be above 18 and below 28 years and for Office Assistant post the age should be between 18 and 28 years as on 01.06.2012. However the upper age limit relaxation will be as per norms.

SGB Officer and Office Assistant educational qualification: The candidates should have Degree in any discipline (as on 01.06.2012) with proficiency in local language of Gujarat State and must have passed Gujarati as one of the subject at Matriculation/Class X level.

SGB Officer and Office Assistant required RRB CWE cut off marks: Candidates who have got valid score cards issued by IBPS for RRB CWE only can apply for this job and they should have secured the followoing mentioned TWS and as well as standard scores.

For Office Assistant: For Office Assistant post, the qualifying standard score in each test for SC/ST/SC-PWD/ ST-PWD/ SC-EXS/ ST-EXS should be 17 & above and total weighted standard cutoff is 89 & above. For OBC/ Gen/ OBC-PWD/ Gen-PWD/ OBC-EXS/ Gen-EXS the qualifying standard score in each test should be 19 & above and total weighted standard cutoff is 95 & above.

For Officer Scale I post the qualifying standard score in each test for SC/ST / SC-PWD/ ST-PWD is 17 & above and total weighted standard cutoff is 97 & above. For OBC/ Gen/ OBC-PWD/ Gen-PWD the qualifying standard score in each test should be 19 & above and total weighted standard cutoff is 103 & above.

Selection is based on candidates performance in RRB CWE conducted by IBPS in Sep 2012 based on their Total Weighted Standard Scores in the exam and will be shortlisted for personal interview.
