UPSC CDS Exam 2013 age limit: The institute wise age eligibilities for CDS (I) 2013 exam are as follows.
  • For IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than Jan 2, 1990 and not after Jan 1, 1995.
  • For INA: Unmarried male candidates born not before Jan 2, 1992 and not after Jan 1, 1995.

  • For IMA and OTA - Candidate should be a Graduate from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • For INA: Degree in Engineering is required.
  • For AFA: Should be a Graduate from recognized University and they should have taken Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Candidates with Bachelor of Engineering can apply.

Selection process consists of two phases. First phase includes screening of applications for eligibility, physical measurement and followed by written examination. Second phase consists of typing speed test, shorthand speed test for ASI, document verification followed by interview. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo medical examination before final appointment.

CRPF ASI (Steno Grade III) and HC (Ministerial) exam pattern and syllabus


Candidates who have satisfied the prescribed educational and physical standars will be shortlisted for written examination. The written examination for CRPF ASI and HC is of objective type multiple choice questions which consists of four parts as mentioned below.

Skill Test for CRPF ACI (Steno) and HC (Ministerial) vacancies
For ASI (Steno) - There will be a dictation of 10 minutes at 80wpm. Translation time given to complete in English is 50 minutes and for Hindi 65 minutes.

For HC (Min) - Typing on computer at minimum of 35 wpm in English (30 wpm for SC/ST) or 30 wpm in Hindi.

Selection process for Indian Navy Sailor recruitment 2012


Selection is based on your performance on Written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and through medical examination.

The written test will be of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ) and the question paper consists of four sections, English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The question paper for Indian Navy Sailor exam will be set in Hindi and English and the standard will be that of 10+2 syllabus. You need to complete the exam in one hour duration.
